Is DRM making you unhappy? Well now its futile to worry about it. 2K removes the hated install limits on the PC version of BioShock. Now you don’t have to install anything or patch it up when you buy your copy of Bioshock- it is already done!
They move of fixing Bioshock DRM free has happened earlier than expected. They haven’t done everything right but still this move at-least shows that we can trust them in the long run. Bioshock’s SecuRom -supported copyright protection had created a huge controversy at the time of its release, which led the simultaneous limit of installation from 2 to 5 PC’s . Thanks for taking away SecuRom. EA should take a note of this.

At times it’s really hard to believe Microsoft, for example, the Xbox 360 Blu Ray rumor has been in the news for a long time. Anybody with mediocre intelligence can concur that a new Blu Ray equipped Xbox 360 is in the works and will see the light of day by the end of the year, but they still choose to deny it.
A few days back, Take Two sent shivers down the GTA 4 fanbase when it delayed the DLC promised this year. Now M$ is questioing the develoers comment and promising the Xbox 360 gamers that the promised DLC will make it thie year and will not be delayed. Read more below, for full story click here:
Before the weekend, Take-Two announced that the Xbox 360’s exclusive Grand Theft Auto IV DLC would be delayed until next year, but it seems that Microsoft has other ideas. The company, which paid a David Bowie’s ransom for the downloadable content, is still pretty sure we’ll be seeing more from Liberty City later this year.
“Comment from us stays at: ‘The first of the Xbox 360 exclusive “Grand Theft Auto IV” episodes will be available beginning fall 2008,” stated an MS rep. I love the way that’s worded, as if to say that content will come even if Shane Kim has to make it himself out of some tins and a bit of old string. It doesn’t seem to matter what Take Two’s intentions are.

While we belong to the second largest video gaming territory in the world, some publishers and developers treat Indian gamers like crap. Sure we don’t have a consumption rate as high as a lot of other countries and yes, piracy is prevalent, but we’re still a growing market with both the 360 and PS3 making commendable headway in gaining space into people’s living rooms. Though Microsoft and EA usually ensure a release date on par with the rest of the world (in some cases, earlier), other publishers such as Take-Two and now, Konami have decided to give us the proverbial finger. According to Gaming Indians who are in touch with the distributors for MGS4, the game will see a delay. It seems that that the Konami representative for India is holidaying apparently.
believe it or not konami’s india rep is on leave….how does a konami employee get leave with MGS4 just around the corner?
And to further add to our woes…
there is no guarantee of when the game is arriving…..although konami is sticking to its earlier promise…..E-xpress’ stand: “The game is still scheduled for June 12, but after GTA4 we’re keeping the date as July 12″
So there you have it folks, we get the shaft. Again.

There is no doubt in my mind that Bioshock was worth very GOTY award it received, it was by far way ahead of the competition in every aspect. The sequel is all set to release in the latter part of 2009, and although it hasn’t been announced yet, I am pretty sure that the game will release simultaneously on all major consoles. another good news for Bioshcok fans was the announcement of the movie based on this artistic game, to be directed by none other than Gore Verbinski (you should know who this is). But thats not all, as per a new turn of events:
“The recently announced BioShock film is more likely to release alongside the third entry in the game series than the second, according to Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick. “It’s more likely that [the BioShock movie] would be released coincidentally with BioShock 3,” Zelnick said in an investors conference call, as reported by Kotaku.
BioShock 2, in development at California-based 2K Marin, is currently planned for a fall 2009 debut for yet unannounced platforms. Take-Two stated that BioShock creator Ken Levine will be involved in the development of the sequel, though his role on the project was not specified.”

Yes we’re a little late on this one, but the fine folks at Take-Two have announced that a sequel to the 2007 game of the year, BioShock is on the way for sometime in the fourth quarter of 2009. It’s being handled by the newly formed 2k Marin Studio. Rumor has it that it will be a prequel to the events of the first game.
With 2 million copies of Bioshock sold, a sequel was inevitable. But since the game was perfect enough to be a stand alone title, we hope that Take-Two manage something just as special, if not better.
GTA 4 is getting bigger by the day, this is a game that will break record sales within days, and for good reason. The latest trailer from the GTA wagon is looking better than all the other trailers put together. The trailer features some good music and awesome action sequences. As per reports from 1up.com:

“Rockstar has just released the fourth and final teaser trailer for the game. The trailer is titled “Everyone’s a Rat,” and gives a glimpse a minute-long glimpse into the anticipated game’s story. Oh, and it’s kind of awesome. But don’t take our word for it. Enjoy the embedded version below or download the HD version at GameVideos.”
The game is coming out on 29th April, but after these awesome trialers the wait seems too long, anyways enjoy the video for now, click below:
