Launching on PS3 and Xbox 360, players will join the ‘B’ Company, a wayward band of soldiers more interested in the pursuit of gold and personal financial gain than following the rules. It is rated “T” and landed on retail shelves on June 23 (that’s yesterday) on Xbox and PS3 in North America and June 27 in Europe.
To cherish this occasion, the publishers i.e. EA released a few comic clips, online. In a trailer released June 16th, 2008, the team makes a reference to the Metal Gear series. Sweetwater, a member of Bad Company thinks he’s seen someone wearing an eye-patch, hiding inside a barrel, to which Haggard responds, “A barrel? Why would someone want to hide in there? That’s as stupid as hiding in a cardboard box!” to which Sweetwater replies, “Probably it’s made out of some kind of solid metal! Like its Japanese or something!” Haggard fires a grenade at it, and finds, amongst the wreckage of the barrel, a black eye-patch. He puts it on and proceeds to bump into Sweetwater.
In another subsequently released trailer, Haggard is seen running down a destroyed street while Gary Jules’ Mad World is sung in the background by Sweetwater (a reference to the Gears of War trailer). Haggard then tells Sweetwater to knock it off.
Battlefield Bad Company has only just been released, but early reviews for the game are positive, with the deformable environments, large maps, diverse array of vehicles, and multiplayer mode earning it praise from critics.

I just got a mail from a friend who works at EA, the mail said that I could order, Battlefield Bad Company on the phone…..yes on the phone. It may seem that I am making a big deal out of it, as we have ordering our copies on the phone for years, but for me this is special as I will finally be ordering a game in the most simple manner, and ordering via the official distributor on the day of worldwide release.
This is a positive step, a very positive step for Indian gaming. The game in question is Battlefield Bad Company, a very celebrated title. Ordering the gold edition will give you access to an unlock code that will provide you with a superior rifle, that can be used in multiplayer. Gamers worldwide hate the idea, but I am sure many gamers will buy this to get an edge over other people playing online, no matter how much we flame the idea, we all want to win in the end. You can pre-order the game here or call 1800-22-7529.

Last time we looked into one of the video blogs by a member of the B-Company called Sweetwater, this time around we have two more members from the squad, see below as they introduce themselves in their own unique way. The game is looking really impressive, in both single player and multiplayer and the most impressive aspect of the whole deal is that unlike others, EA is actually working towards promoting the game in India. There will be no delays in release, which makes it easier for the genuine gamers to get the game in India.
Sgt. Redford:
Sergeant Redford has seen plenty of action while in B Company, maybe even too much, and having squad members like Sweetwater and Haggard in his crew doesn’t put his tensions to rest. With only a couple weeks left in the Army, Redford is on his last string and will let nothing come in his way of a peaceful retirement…or will he?
Private Haggard :
Private Haggard may not be the most charismatic guy, but he sure gets to the point quickly. Catch a glimpse of his heartfelt speech to his family in which he talks about some of his, well, mishaps, from the past. See more of Haggard and B-Company at www.battlefield.com

The super successful Battlefield series is all set to introduce a new game in their long running franchise, called Battlefield Bad Company. The game is looking really good, with an awesome game engine that promises that 90% of the environments including buildings are destructible, a great multiplayer package and a interesting single player campaign. The game is releasing on the PS3 and Xbox 360 making it a console exclusive for now. EA recently launched a few character video blogs, introducing the single player characters in a very informal and amusing manner, we check out Private Sweetwater and his video Blog today.
Sweet Water: Private Sweetwater isn’t one to laugh in the face of danger. In fact, he’d rather find a good cave to hide in, but in B-Company, he’s faced with dangerous situations every day! See how he’s holding up as he talks to his loyal video blog subscribers.
