Sony finally confirms the in-game XMB, trophies in the upcoming system software update rumors as the PS 3 owners heave a sigh of relief. It won’t be the very next one though. v2.36 is going to be the next one - another version update that improves system stability when playing. After v2.36 we shall see the long-awaited largely rumored v2.40
Apart from the above mentioned updates we shall see more enhancements as well - this was announced by Eric Lempel, Director of PlayStation Network Operations. More details about the update would be put up on the Playstation blog, he said.This is really something that Sony should have included or patched ages ago. But people are glad that it is finally coming- although the date is not fixed yet. They have the resources to implement these features they pimped almost 2 years ago but they have slacked big time. But any way hope to hear from Eric soon about the details !
