This may look fake, it can be fake, but for a dedicated Max Payne like me this is nothing less than good news. The following is apparently a shot of Mark Wahlberg as Max Payne, true or not, you decide. He does look similar to Max Payne, which is good news for the movie fans.



Max Payne the game was a major hit and still commands respect world over as a great game. Max Payne 2 received a mediocre response from the critics and gamers alike, which led many to believe that the series was over. But according to Wiki:

Take-Two Interactive have recently suggested that there will indeed be a Max Payne 3, along with a Red Dead Revolver 2 at some point in their fiscal year of 2009. Evan Wilson, Michael Pachter, and UBS Investment Research analyst Ben Schachter each predict Take-Two to release new installments of Red Dead Revolver and Max Payne during the time frame. While Take-Two didn’t announce those games during its conference call, it has brought the two franchises up regularly as examples of its stable of owned intellectual properties, and CEO Ben Feder said they would return sooner or later.
